ME AS A COUNSELOR

My goal as a therapist is to help remove any obstacles or barriers that may be holding you (or your child) back from living a better life and becoming a better version of yourself. I use a positive, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based approach to counseling. To me, this means that I don’t just focus on weaknesses or voids in your life, but I instead empower you to use your own personal strengths and assets to overcome any stressors or challenges you may be facing. I believe in the power of positive thinking, and I aim to help you view yourself and the world around you in a lighter, brighter way.

I also do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to counseling. I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and perspectives, but I also collaborate with my clients to find the unique path forward that works best for them.

The journey of growth, self-exploration, and self-improvement can be challenging, tough, and painful at times. But I also believe it can be exciting, invigorating, and fun! Come see for yourself!

Life is tough, but so are you.
